Good Morning.
I am so ready for Spring and I cannot wait for the flowers to start growing. So with that in mind, I wanted to make a card with some flowers on. I have used my colouring pecils to get this colour on Fleck Kraft card.
The products you will need are:
- Stone Cumbria Colour Card 270gsm
- Fleck Kraft Card 250gsm
- White Card Super Smooth 250gsm
- Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm
You will also need:
- Coloring Pencils ( I have used Prismacolor)
- Hedgehog Stamp (My Favorite Things)
- Flower Stamp (Uniquely Creative Stamps)
- White Embossing Powder
- Greeting Stamp (Uniquely Creative Stamps)
- Versamark Ink
- White Embossing Powder (WOW)
- Copic Markers
- Heat Gun
- Sequins
- Nuvo Drops
To make the card base I trimmed down a piece of Stone Cumbria Colour Card 270gsm to 4 1/8 and I scored halfway across at 5 7/8. I then trimmed down a piece of Fleck Kraft Card 250gsm a bit smaller than the card base. I then stamped the flowers with Versamark Ink and embossed some white embossing powder over the top. Heat set this with your embossing gun. After this I stamped my greeting.
Using a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm I stamped the Hedgehog and coloured him with copic markers. I then coloured all the flowers in with my colouring pencils.
Once the hedgehog was trimmed out I adhered him onto the card using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm and I also adhered the card onto the card base.
To finish the card off I added a few sequins and nuvo drops.
I love how using colouring pencils on papermilldirect's Fleck Kraft Card 250gsm turned out.
I hope this tutorial was helpful and you give this a try, it's fun and makes a change.
