Good Morning.
I have a really fun monster card that's great for the girls who love monsters and space!
You will need:
- White Card Super Smooth 250gsm
- Turquoise Colour Card
- Pompelmo Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm
- Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm
- Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml
You will also need:
- Monster Stamps (Uniquely Creative)
- Copic Markers
- White Embossing Powder (WOW)
- Heat Gun
- Versamark Ink
- Cloud Stencil (My Favorite Things)
- Pink Pigment Ink (Hobbycraft)
- Number dies
To make the card base I trimmed down a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm to 4 1/8 and I scored this at 5 7/8 inches. I then trimmed down a smaller piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm for my card front. I ink blended the background to look like clouds and adhered this onto my card base using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
I then stamped and coloured my images onto a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm. I trimmed all the images out and adhered them to the card using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
I then used a piece of Turquoise Colour Card and Pompelmo Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm and die cut the number 8. I adhered these together with the turquoise card showing using at the back using Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml. I adhered this to the top of the card.
Using some more Turquoise Colour Card I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed this with white embossing powder. I set this with my heat gun then trimmed the greeting down. I adhered this to my card using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
Your card is now complete!
Feel free to add any extra embellishments.
I think this is a really fun birthday card you can also change the background colours to suit a boy.
