Hello Papermilldirect fans, Barbara here with a tutorial for a very simple, pretty card, using mainly die-cutting. (Details of products used at end of post)
To start, I die-cut a white base, frame, and a flourish background from white 'hopsack' card stock. I love the texture of hopsack card for mainly all-white cards.
I mounted the pretty, flourish panel onto the base, then adhered the frame over the top.
Next I die-cut a very well-loved poppy image and coloured it pink & green, with inks.
I stamped and heat-embossed a small sentiment onto black card, then adhered to the card, tucking it under the poppy stem.
A few sequins finished off the topper.......the whole piece was then adhered to a black card base.
I love black and white cards, with just a pop of colour, they look so elegant.Hope you like this (very simple) project as much as I do......
Any queries, just ask.
Back soon,
Barbara x
