Good Morning.
I am really loving Papermilldirect's Turquoise Cumbria Colour Card 270gsm its so beautiful and the colour always makes me smile. So I have made a long card using this card and I think its turned out fun.
For this card you will need:
- Turquoise Cumbria Colour Card 270gsm
- White Card Super Smooth 250gsm
- Raspberry Pink Plain Card 240gsm
- New Lilac Smooth Card 240gsm
- Celestial Blue Plain Card 290gsm
- Pompelmo Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm
- Apple Green Card Plain 240gsm
- Mandarin Orange Plain Card 240gsm
- Baby Pink Plain Card 240gsm
- Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml
- Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm
You will also need:
- Bunny and chick stamps (Mama Elephant)
- Copic markers
- Alphabet Die
- Heart Balloon Die (Paper Smooches)
- Twine
- Nuvo Drops
For the card base I scored a piece of Turquoise Cumbria Colour Card 270gsm lengthways at 4 1/8 inches. I then trimmed down a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm a bit smaller and adhered this onto the card base using some Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.
Using some more White Card Super Smooth 300gsm I stamped and coloured all the images and then trimmed them out. Place these aside for a moment.
For the Happy Birthday greeting I die cut each letter out using:
- Raspberry Pink Plain Card 240gsm
- New Lilac Smooth Card 240gsm
- Pompelmo Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm
- Celestial Blue Plain Card 290gsm
- Apple Green Card Plain 240gsm
- Mandarin Orange Plain Card 240gsm
I adhered them all down to my card using Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.
I then die cut a hear balloon using Baby Pink Plain Card 240gsm. With one of the images I tied some twine to the balloon and stuck the other piece behind the bunny using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm. I then adhered the images down using some more Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
To finish the card off I added a few drops of Nuvo Drops to the card.
I love how fun and colourful this card turned out. Papermilldirect have a huge selection of card so feel free to use other colours.
Have fun making this card!
