Bright Birthday Card For A Boy 1

I have been using my Silouette cutting machine this week and using up some of my brightly coloured scraps to cut out letters. I typed the letters in the Silouette Studio using a Bernstein SF font at 166pt size and cut them out from Daffodil Yellow Smooth Card, Billiard Green Plain Card, Mandarin Orange Plain Card, Deep Blue Plain Card, Christmas Red Plain Card and White Linen Card. I used a square of white card stock to cut out the name and coloured scraps of card to cut out the coloured letters. The white square with the name was cut to size for the card and a blue and white square, each slightly larger than the other, cut ready for layering onto a Christmas Red Card Blank.

Stars and splats were stamped onto the front white card, with a few die cut stars and a die cut sentiment added before layering it onto the blue square, then onto the white square and lastly onto the red card blank. I then added the colourful letters using 3D sticky pads. A White Plain Paper insert was added with a greeting and a yellow cut out number eleven.

A fun card for a youngster using up medium sized scraps of brightly coloured card. What do you do with your card scraps? we would love to know how you use them in your crafting.
