Good Morning.
I love making birthday cards and I also love using bright colours so I thought it would be fun to make a colourful and bright card today.
The products I used are:
- Raspberry Pink Plain Card 240gsm
- White Card Super Smooth 250gsm
- Luxury C6 Envelopes - Ivory 135gsm
- Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm
- Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml
You will also need:
- Flower stamp ( I used Uniquely Creative Stamps)
- Copic markers
- Nuvo drops
- Sequins
- Pink pigment Ink
- Embossing powder (WOW)
- Heat gun
To make the card base I trimmed and scored a piece of Raspberry Pink Plain Card 240gsm. I then trimmed a smaller piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and with my pink pigment ink I blended some ink onto the card. I then adhered this onto my card base with some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
Using another piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm I stamped and coloured my image. I then trimmed this out and adhered onto the card with some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
For the greeting I heat embossed a sentiment with embossing powder onto another piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and trimmed this down. I adhered at the bottom of the card using some more Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
To finish the card off I added some nuvo drops and sequins. I adhered the sequins using Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.
I also used a Luxury C6 Envelopes - Ivory 135gsm to pop my card into ready for the recipient to receive.
I hope you have fun making some lovely bright and colourful cards they are sure to make someone smile.
