A Sweet Spring Card by Vicki Poulton
Take a look at this Sweet Spring Card for a creative spring card design. To make the card base, use a piece of Stone Cumbria Colour card, and then trim down a piece of Fleck Kraft Card that is just slightly smaller than the base card. Then, start to decorate the card using Versamark Ink and emboss some white detailing with white embossing powder. You can then heat set this with the embossing gun. To decorate it further, stamp a text of your choice. Next, using the White Card Super Smooth, stamp a hedgehog and colour it in with some markers and don’t forget to colour in the flowers with colouring pencils. To stick the hedgehog onto the card, use the 3D foam tape to make sure it’s secure. If you want to add more finishing touches, you can decorate the card further by adding sequins and Nuvo drops.
Spring Flowers by Vicki Poulton
For another beautiful card design, consider the Spring Flowers card design. It is an easy DIY card tutorial, ideal to give out to your friends or family. Using a piece of Super Smooth White Card, cut it out to a shape and size that you’re happy with for a card base. Then trim a piece of Rich Cream Plain Card for the card front. Using a selection of Papermill’s spring cards, die-cut the desired spring shapes that you want to use to decorate your card; these could be flowers and vases. Once you’ve set out the positions of these shapes, adhere the pieces to your card font. Add a spring sentiment in the centre of your card by using a better press machine, stamp, or handwritten if you prefer, and your spring card is now complete!
Spring Cards by Stacey Bone
If you like a brighter coloured theme, this Spring Cards design is for you! Using a plain white super smooth card, cutout the desired shape of your card and using a scalpel blade and an apple green plain card, cutout the grass shape, make sure each strip is a different height with slightly different shape so that you can layer the grass on top of each other at the bottom of the card. For the flowers, pick out the sparkle print sea blue and sparkle print tea rose cards for a touch of glitz and shimmer. Add a swirly text font using the pastel blue plain card to tie the colours together. You could even decorate it even more by adding some small cutouts of chicks using the daffodil yellow smooth cards. This DIY card is perfect to do with children as it is simple and a way of entertainment.
